Tuesday Trivia with Matt - Episode 176
Hello November! And Hello TTWM Teams!
We had a whopping 17 teams for Episode 176! Thank you all so much for showing up for our eighth show of the Fall League. It truly means so much to have your support and engagement with this season.
This week, on the end game survey, I was happy to see the responses to the question: “what was your favorite round this week?”. Each of the five rounds was mentioned by at least one team. 😊It makes me happy to create a new game every week with five different themes and formats, and I especially love when each round resonates with someone. Thank you for the positive and kind feedback!
I am relieved, excited, happy (allll the positive adjectives) to report that after several weeks of receiving emails with people justifying why a certain answer should have been accepted, this week the inbox was empty! 😜 There were three teams who received points after reviewing all the answers (some tails that were valid answers during the animal round), and those small adjustments were made. The final scoreboard for the game and updated league leaderboard are below.
Speaking of acceptable tails (a phrase I am certain I’ve never said before in my life! ha!)… that brings us to the The Alex Award this week. Instead of an award for the funniest answer of the week, Alex has decided the theme this week is: “The More You Know”.
During the animal tail round, an animal was submitted as an answer that he had never heard of before. We did a bit of googling and learned about a new animal that was, indeed, an acceptable answer! The tail featured in the round was one of an alligator or crocodile, but Kristin of Alllll Byyyy Myselffff submitted “caiman”. When looking up the caiman, we learned yet another new word, which was “alligatorid” which is what a creature that belongs to the family Alligatoridae. Anyway… a caiman is an alligatorid, which is certainly another phrase I have never said in my life. 🤣🐊 That fun learning journey was enough for Kristin to win The Alex Award this week. We had a new team atop the leaderboard this week, so let’s get to the podium for this episode:
🥇 Threat Level Midday rose to the top adding a whopping score of 117 to their season score! WAY TO GO!
🥈 Crafty Tiger Bitches had another great performance this week with a total of 111 points, nabbing the silver. BOOM.
🥉 Just Neighbors took third place with 108 points. Congrats!
🏅 This is How We Know It’s Tuesday was so happy that the game was back on Tuesday that the landed on the podium with 104 points. Congrats!
☸️ This week’s random wheel spin winner was the Crafty Tiger Bitches who have now earned 12 entries into our end-of-season prizes. WOO WOO!

SPEAKING OF the League Leaderboard… week eight is a very exciting week for the League, as we start dropping the lowest scores of teams who have played more than seven games. For example, Threat Level Midday had a stellar week with 117 points which canceled out their lowest previous score of 77 points, increasing their season score by 40 points! You’ll see the lowest scores are now grayed-out in the leaderboard.
After Just Neighbors missed a week of trivia action earlier in the season, they logged their seventh score this week, which leapfrogged them all the way to the top of the League Leaderboard! Congrats on being the top team at the moment!
Will they hold on through two more weeks of competition? We will soon find out!
