One of our long-standing regular TTWM teams, Central Adams, has a special family connection to this organization that has provided services to their brother/son/teammate Brian. Team member Lillie also serves on the board of the organization, and here is what Lillie shared about the impact of Gigi’s Playhouse:
GiGi's Playhouse Chicago provides therapeutic and educational programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Our Chicago playhouse serves hundreds of families in the Chicagoland area. Our programs are tailored to the unique needs of the Down syndrome community and include: early language development for our littlest participants, 1:1 math & literacy tutoring, internships for our young adults, and many more! We're really proud to be able to offer these services for FREE to our families and rely on primarily individual donors to support our mission.
