Episode 323: TTWM Fall Trivia League

We welcomed back team “It’s a Beautiful Day” this week, bringing our total number of teams this season to TWENTY-FIVE! Thank you, all, for being a part of the largest Fall Trivia League season ever! We have officially crossed the halfway point with this fifth show of our ten-week season.

Leaderboards & Points Update
I confirmed all the answers and scores for this show, and you’ll notice a few rank changes as compared to what was announced live. Nothing too big or sweeping to report!

There was an interesting observation about this show: There were five teams who had their highest score of the season, and four who had their lowest of the season. I think maybe it was the inclusion of the chemistry and nature topics this week? I blinded some of you with science!

“The Alex Award”
This week, we celebrated the upcoming nuptiuals of a TTWM team: Jenison Jeniuses! They are getting married this Saturday, and so I created a round featuring famous Sams and Maggies in which players had to identify their last names by just a picture of their face. It made my trivia-creating heart so happy to include both Sam Smith and Maggie Smith in the same image to kick off the round. Most teams got “Smith” for both… but the team who the round was created for, guessed “Maggie Dench” for Maggie Smith. So with that, Alex has awarded Jenison Jeniuses the Alex Award this week!
